About Us:

The Kahnawake Learning Center is a privately owned learning center.  We are   presently located on the River Road in Kahnawake, just behind Zack's

Convenience Store.  The center itself occupies close to 3000 sq. feet, with a

total of 12 separate and private teaching areas.  Most sessions are individual,

but small group sessions are also available.

The center was developed in 2004, by Suzy Goodleaf, M.Ed. , a renown Native Psychologist and community member, along with Diane Labelle, a special

education consultant with over 25 years of experience.  Both are actively

involved in the daily operations of the center.

They are assisted in their efforts by a qualified and friendly staff, which includes Cheryl Zachary, who will greet you

upon arrival, and provide you with all of the information you require.  The tutors are all qualified teachers, with many

years of experience, who enjoy working with the students, after hours, in a different setting.  They will communicate

with students and parents regularly, making sure that the service provided is highly satisfactory.

The center works closely with local school boards and schools, in order to assure that the assistance being given

matches the needs expressed by the client's teachers or supervisors.  The staff will even make themselves available

to meet with the school personnel in order to facilitate communication.

The staff and administration of the Kahnawake Learning Center are open to suggestions from clients, community

members and others regarding programming and specialized courses that are required.  Please forward any

comments or suggestions to us at: kahnawakelearning@yahoo.ca
